Moving house can be a busy time! Below is a list of the essentials you need to consider when moving into a new rental property

We will be in touch to ensure that all the paperwork is completed prior to your move in day.

Once you move into the property, you should complete the Inventory Report provided and return it to us. You should note any damaged furniture, stains or missing inventory items to us within 7 days so we can make a note and amend our records. Doing this will ensure that you are not held responsible for these items when you move out.

Taking photographs of any such damage is always a good idea too.

We will have organised the switch of electricity accounts for most tenancies. If we have not done this, you will need to organise your electricity account switch when you move in. You will also need to organise a refuse collection provider and broadband/wifi supplier if you so wish.

Both tenants and landlords have rights and responsibilities during a tenancy. It is strongly recommended that both the tenant and landlord know their individual rights and responsibilities. More information on rights and responsibilities can be found on the Residential Tenancies Board website.
